On Thursday, 30 January, the regular meeting of the Circolo delle Imprese (www.circolodelleimprese.it) was held at Spider’s Covo (BG) headquarters, dedicated to the construction supply chain. On this occasion, the focus was placed on safety in work at height and fall protection systems.
More than thirty companies and industry professionals attended the event, discussing and sharing insights on this topic, which is central to the construction sector, also in light of the dramatic statistics related to workplace accidents occurring in height-related activities.
The debate was further enriched by the exchange of experiences, aimed at highlighting the current situation of the construction sector, characterized by both challenges and opportunities, and at analysing the role that lifelines and fall protection devices can play in prevention.
These meetings, strongly promoted by the Spider Group four years ago, provide ample opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing, marked by a high level of professionalism.
Representatives of the participating companies (chief executive officers and managing directors) mainly came from Lombardy and Piedmont.
