Lifeline KALZIP

Advanced Anchoring Technology for Metal Roofs

The Spider KALZIP Lifeline is a permanent Type C-A anchoring system, designed and optimized to provide fall protection on Kalzip metal roofs and other civil and industrial surfaces, flat or inclined. It complies with UNI EN 795:2012 and UNI 11578:2015 standards.

KALZIP’s strength lies in its attachment method, which preserves the integrity of the roof surface. The system is specifically designed for installation on Kalzip metal roofs without perforating the surface, keeping the roof covering intact. The line consists of a flexible stainless steel cable stretched between terminal and intermediate anchors, equipped with aluminum absorbers to ensure correct tensioning and controlled deformability in the event of a fall.

Kalzip integrates high-strength materials and a flexible stainless steel system for maximum durability and safety.

 

Performance and Operational Capacity
The system can be configured as a single or multi-span installation, with spacing between intermediate elements from 5 to 10 meters and a recommended total length of up to 100 meters. It allows simultaneous use by up to 2 operators (for Type C configurations) or 1 operator (for Type A configurations), ensuring smooth movement along the line through the intermediate passage elements.

Materials and Extreme Durability
Made from top-quality materials, the KALZIP system guarantees long-lasting durability and strength in any environment. The line is constructed from AISI 304/316 stainless steel (cable and tensioner) for maximum corrosion resistance. Other components are made of galvanized steel and aluminum (absorber), ensuring longevity and compatibility with personal fall protection devices compliant with EN 363 and UNI 11158.
